Your data is part of your programme—not our product.
This notice explains the information Tailored uses to provide free access, save your assessment and programme, send essential service emails, manage optional programme reminders and marketing preferences, and give you control over your information.
Last updated 5 October 2026Information we use
We use account details, age, sex used for energy calculations, height, weight, goals, training experience, schedule, equipment, food preferences, allergies, declared injuries and Fighter Performance details such as discipline, skill-session load and optional fight date. We also store workout logs, weekly check-ins and any food, water, step, sleep, HRV, resting-heart-rate and habit entries you choose to save to your account. Recovery readings are entered manually or imported from a CSV you review; Apple Watch, Oura and WHOOP are source labels, without a live device connection.
Why we use it
We process this information to create your requested programme, operate your account, maintain progress history, adjust future training weeks, provide support, keep the service secure and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell member health or fitness information.
Automated personalisation
Tailored uses rules and automated technology to produce and adjust general fitness and nutrition guidance. Safety limits and conservative calculation rules apply before a programme is shown. Automated output is not a medical decision or professional diagnosis.
Service providers and international access
Specialist providers may process limited data for hosting, account authentication, email delivery, security and programme generation. Payments are not active for free access. Providers are selected for appropriate safeguards. As Tailored is designed for international use, information may be processed outside your country with contractual and technical protections.
Free access and service emails
An email address is required to save your place, send an assessment return link and create your free programme. No password or card is required. We save your programme on our servers under a random identifier, and an essential secure cookie gives this browser access for up to 180 days. To restore an eligible saved beta programme on another device, you must verify a sign-in code sent to its contact email. We then link that verified login to the original programme identifier. If several programmes use that email, you choose which to open. Your email does not by itself unlock an existing account or another person's programme. You can download or delete your data in Settings while you have access.
App diary and offline entries
The companion mobile app saves food and daily entries on your phone first and syncs them to your account when connected. Synced entries can be restored on another device using the same verified account. If both devices change the same value differently, you choose which value to keep. Unsynced entries can be lost when signing out, deleting the app or losing the phone. The website and its home-screen installation require a connection to load private account information and save diary entries. A conflicting save loads the latest diary and asks you to review your retained food draft before saving again. Its offline screen does not cache private programmes or account responses. Shopping checkmarks stay on the device. The browser app preview uses fictional data and does not sync entries to a real account.
Owner access
The website owner can verify their existing ChatGPT identity or a sign-in code sent to the configured owner email. This opens private website controls without a member assessment or subscription. Owner previews use separate fictional profiles; food, training and diary changes in those previews are not added to a real member's records.
Daily choices, race splits and progress cards
Daily session choices, self-reported readiness, previous-race splits and challenge dates are stored with your programme and progress history. A progress card is created on your device from the fields you preview. Your name, email, readiness, measurements and private photos are excluded by default; you can choose to include your weight trend or latest photo. Cards are downloaded or passed to an app you select through your browser. Nothing is published automatically, and a card you share can be retained by its recipient.
Optional camera and voice input
Barcode scanning asks for camera access when you select it and decodes the barcode on your device. Camera images are not uploaded; only the barcode is sent for an Open Food Facts product lookup, without your account details. Community nutrition values need confirmation against the pack. Optional dictation uses your browser's speech recognition, which may process audio through its provider. Tailored saves only the text you review and submit. You can type notes and food labels without either permission.
Optional programme reminders
You can separately choose reminders about training logs, meal feedback and weekly check-ins. We record the wording, source and time of that choice, schedule only the reminders connected to your active programme, and cancel a reminder when the related activity has already been completed where possible. Each reminder contains a secure programme-return link and a way to stop future reminders without affecting free access. Reminder links expire and are stored as one-way hashes.
Optional marketing emails
Marketing consent is separate and optional, and declining it does not affect free access. When you opt in, we store your name, email, programme interest, source, the consent wording and when it was recorded. These details can be used for Tailored training advice, product news and offers. A service email entered without marketing consent is not added to the marketing list. You can stop marketing emails in Settings. Earlier launch-list preferences are retained. Any marketing campaign must include a way to unsubscribe.
Campaign statistics
Across the homepage, TikTok page and programme pages, we keep daily totals of page loads, assessment starts, emails captured and first programmes created by campaign, channel and placement. The aggregate counters do not store names, email addresses, body details, IP addresses or a visitor identifier. Campaign labels travel in links and assessment requests; we do not add advertising cookies or send these counters to an advertising network. We respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals for these counts. Repeated page visits can count more than once. Assessment emails are stored separately as service contacts with the applicable campaign label.
Retention and deletion
Assessment leads that do not create a programme are removed after 30 days. Programme and progress data is kept while you use your programme and for a limited period afterwards where required for support, fraud prevention, accounting or legal obligations. You may request access, correction, export or deletion from Settings. Some transaction records must be retained by law. If you unsubscribe, we retain the minimum suppression record needed to make sure we do not market to you again by mistake.
Your choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, obtain a portable copy, and complain to your local data-protection authority. You can stop programme reminders or withdraw optional marketing consent without affecting your programme.
